Gregory A. Carrara

Greg is a graduate of LaSalle Academy’s class of 1982. Immediately following graduation, he completed infantry basic training at Fort Benning, GA. He served in the US Army Reserve in a cold weather infantry unit while attending Providence College, where he entered and completed the ROTC program. He worked full time in addition to attending Providence College, graduating in 1986. After completing his undergraduate degree, he was branched Signal Corps and completed officer basic at Fort Gordon, GA, where he achieved the rank of 2nd Lt. The next three years were spent teaching and counseling at risk youth at Ocean Tides in Narragansett, RI while contemporaneously serving in the US Army Reserve in an Army Training Evaluation Unit, until he made the decision to attend law school. As a new graduate of Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Lansing, MI, Greg worked as a law clerk in the Rhode Island Superior Court, working with the Justices on several high profile civil and criminal cases.

Greg then transitioned from the judiciary branch into private sector where, he worked as a litigation associate at Morrison Mahoney and Miller before founding Carrara Dayian, PC with Daryl Dayian. He loves his work as a trial lawyer, and lives with his wife and four children in Barrington, RI, where he also has had the honor of coaching the Barrington High School Mock Trial team. In addition to his legal work, he enjoys outdoor training and workouts, and has successfully tackled multiple Tough Mudders. He is a music, German car, watch, and art enthusiast but his greatest joy comes from the time he spends with his family.
